Lizarrán is the leader in the management of franchised tapas establishments, with a network of 114 establishments and a menu of up to 600 tapas and a wide variety of dishes (meat, fish, salads, desserts).
Value contribution
- Opening of 40 new establishments in Spain in two years.
- International expansion with the opening of a total of 16 bars in France, the United States, Germany and Portugal.
- Transformation of the business model: from a full franchise model to a combination with own bars, with the opening of a flagship establishment and the acquisition of a master franchise in Seville.
- Strategic agreement with the main beer supplier with the double objective of (i) improving the gross margin, and (ii) obtaining financing for the expansion.
Divestment
In 2007, Nazca sold the company to Comess Group, the main franchised restaurant group in Spain.
