Javier Perea joined Nazca’s IAB in January 2017 as an expert in digital transformation. Technology now plays a key role across all areas of companies, and Javier is responsible for identifying potential technological levers or areas for improvement in investment opportunities.
What is your background?
I have more than 30 years of experience in technological innovation, both as an entrepreneur and as an executive in multinational information technology companies. After graduating in Business Administration in Madrid in 1990, I founded the first cybersecurity company in Spain, and after eight years of growth we merged with McAfee, the global leader in the field. From there, I developed my international career at McAfee and Intel as European Vice President of Intel Security. I am currently an investor and advisor in high-growth tech start-ups, as well as CEO and founder of Smart Protection.
