Nazca incorporated in the capital of Juan Luna
Nazca Capital has reached an agreement (through Nazca Fund III) with the Luna family (owner and founder of the company) for its incorporation in the shareholding of Distribuciones Juan Luna, a company specialised in the slicing, cutting and packaging of charcuterie and cheese products (mainly imports).
With headquarters in Sollana (Valencia) and over 200 employees, Juan Luna is the largest specialist in the slicing and packaging of charcuterie products in Spain, with sales of 54 million euros in 2015, having recorded double digit annual growth in the last four years. The company has a large range and number of brands (1,800 products and 9 registered brands, the main brand being Juan Luna) and a clear vocation for client service. Its main clients are large food distribution companies, which it provides with products for both free service and charcuterie departments. Around 15% of its sales are from exports in both Europe and Latin America.
In this new phase, Distribuciones Juan Luna aspires to continue this pace of growth through the development of new products and formats, including entering new market segments both nationally and internationally. To do so, it plans to make investments which will allow it to increase its current capacity and adapt its production facilities to the requirements of the growth project.
