{"id":2592,"date":"2021-08-03T13:28:13","date_gmt":"2021-08-03T11:28:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nazca.es\/?p=2592"},"modified":"2021-08-03T13:28:40","modified_gmt":"2021-08-03T11:28:40","slug":"nazca-acquires-a-controlling-stake-in-zunibal-to-accelerate-growth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nazca.es\/en\/noticias\/nazca-acquires-a-controlling-stake-in-zunibal-to-accelerate-growth\/","title":{"rendered":"Nazca acquires a controlling stake in Zunibal to accelerate growth"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><em>Founded in 1995 in Derio (Vizcaya), Zunibal is a Spanish family-owned company pioneer developer of technology for the fishing industry with a high R&amp;D<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Nazca partners with the General Manager, Ibone Rodr\u00edguez de Pablo, who will remain as relevant shareholder, to expand Zunibal into international markets<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Madrid, 3<sup>rd<\/sup> August 2021.-<\/em> <strong>Zunibal<\/strong>, specialized pioneer developer of technology for the tuna fishing industry, has given entrance into its capital structure to <strong>Nazca Capital <\/strong>as a majority shareholder, a Spanish private equity firm focused on investing in the Spanish mid-market, through its Fund Nazca IV. <strong>Zunibal<\/strong> with the support of <strong>Nazca <\/strong>will continue its ambitious international growth plan leveraging on a solid product portfolio and the development of new solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Based in Derio (Vizcaya) and founded in 1995, <strong>Zunibal<\/strong> is a company with a business model based on innovation with a solid R&amp;D team and strategic partners, focused on the manufacturing of satellite buoys for fishing fleets. <strong>Zunibal<\/strong> has a relevant international position, with 85% exports. <strong>Zunibal<\/strong> estimates to close 2021 with a turnover above 26 million euros.<\/p>\n<p>The project will continue to be led by Ibone Rodr\u00edguez de Pablo, who has a deep knowledge of the sector and will remain as a relevant shareholder and General Manager of <strong>Zunibal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nazca <\/strong>will provide <strong>Zunibal<\/strong> it\u00b4s 20 years of international experience developing growth projects with differential technology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ibone Rodriguez de Pablo, General Manager and shareholder of Zunibal:<\/strong> <em>\u201cThe trust that Nazca has placed in our project will reinforce the motivation of Zunibal\u2019s talented team.
