This milestone further strengthens its position as one of the leading private equity managers in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, <strong>NAZCA&#8217;s<\/strong> Board of Directors has appointed Celia P\u00e9rez-Beato as the firm\u2019s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Celia P\u00e9rez-Beato has 18 years of experience at <strong>NAZCA<\/strong> and has played a key role in investment management, portfolio monitoring and the execution of the firm\u2019s strategic plan.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, \u00c1lvaro Mariategui, founding partner and until now CEO, will remain fully dedicated to the firm as a member of the Board of Directors, maintaining an active involvement in the business, with a focus on strategic development, investment opportunities, investor relations, and portfolio companies\u2019 supervision.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Carb\u00f3, founding partner, continues to lead <strong>NAZCA <\/strong>as Executive Chairman. From this position, he will continue to lead the Board of Directors, driving the investment strategy, institutional positioning and the recently launched Aerospace and Defense Fund.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NAZCA<\/strong> has also defined a new organizational structure, dividing its activities into three business lines led by three Managing Partners: Aerospace and Defense &#8211; Daniel Pascual, <em>Small Cap Funds I and II<\/em> &#8211; Celia P\u00e9rez-Beato, and Nazca Opportunities &#8211; Ignacio Portela. This new organization allows for greater specialization and more autonomous management of each area, while maintaining an integrated vision through the Board of Directors and executive management.<\/p>\n<p>The private equity firm has also approved the appointment of three new partners \u2013 Javier Allende, Alberto G\u00e1lvez, and David de Bedoya \u2013 professionals with more than ten years of experience at the firm and an outstanding record of contribution to the development of <strong>NAZCA.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>NAZCA <\/strong>currently has a team of 34 professionals, 13 of whom are partners. In addition, <strong>NAZCA <\/strong>has an Advisory Board made up of 9 members with extensive experience in different sectors.
