- This strategic move expands Global Factor’s capacity to offer solutions to international organizations and reinforces its value proposition in energy, social development, and sustainability
- Following the acquisition of EDE Ingenieros earlier this year, this transaction is part of the Group’s inorganic growth plan, through which it aims to double in size by 2028
- As a result of this integration, Global Factor forecasts a 60% increase in revenue, targeting €30 million by 2025
Global Factor, a leading international group in sustainability, climate change, and environmental markets, has acquired the Public Consultancy division of OCA Global, which specializes in advising international organizations, multilateral institutions, and public sector stakeholders, and with a strong presence in the European Union and development banks. This integration strengthens Global Factor’ position as a key international platform, broadening its technical expertise and geographic reach to tackle global projects in energy, climate change, and sustainable development.
This transaction marks a significant milestone in Global Factor’s ambitious strategic plan, through which the company aims to triple its size over the coming years. The addition of this team enables the group to reinforce its international presence and consolidate its value proposition with a more comprehensive and specialized approach.
“With this integration, we are significantly expanding our international presence and strengthening our capacity to deliver specialized solutions at a global level—particularly to EU institutions—allowing us to continue building a more solid, diversified, and global value proposition,” says Kepa Solaun, CEO of Global Factor.
The transaction will not affect ongoing projects or disrupt team continuity. The new unit will be integrated into the Global Factor group while maintaining its current focus. The acquired company will operate under the Global Factor brand, facilitating alignment with the group’s other areas and enabling the development of both commercial and technical synergies.
A commitment to international growth and technical excellence
With this integration, Global Factor strengthens its capacity to deliver services to multilateral organizations, international institutions and governments, leveraging the integrated team’s experience—built over projects in more than 50 countries—and its deep expertise in key areas such as climate change, energy transition, social development, public governance, infrastructure and food security.
The combined capabilities will enable Global Factor to take on more ambitious and complex projects, marking a qualitative leap in its competitive positioning at the international level. Additionally, the transaction broadens opportunities for collaboration across teams and reinforces the group’s multidisciplinary approach.
A Group in the midst of expansion
The acquisition of OCA Global’s Public Consultancy division is part of the inorganic growth strategy that Global Factor has been pursuing since Nazca Capital joined the company’s shareholder base. Together with the recent integration of EDE Ingenieros, this transaction positions Global Factor as a key player in the transition toward a more sustainable future, combining strong technical foundations with a global vision and proven execution capabilities.
With the integration of OCA Global’s Public Consultancy division, Global Factor expects to reach €30 million in revenue by 2025, representing a 60% increase compared to the previous year. This growth reflects both the group’s organic expansion, estimated at around 10%, and an additional 50% attributed to this integration.
